Great Sunday roasts served here , definitely one of the best in my opinion. Could do with a reburb in the dining area, but I am aware that small businesses are being crushed by our corrupt government.

Just found this pub . It's so good food is amazing all home cooked the chefs is very proud of what he makes and should be.
Parking: The pub has very few parking bays but you are next yo a council car park that's never full and about £1 per hour free Sunday evening.

Under new management! My partner myself and my dad went for a roast dinner. Food was amazing and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money. Definately recommend! Staff very welcoming creating a great relaxing atmosphere.
The grade 2 listed Golden Lion building, was built by Stephen Barney, the recorder of the Mutiny on the Bounty trial at Portsmouth, in the late 1700’s.
Refurbished in May 2016, the historic Golden Lion in Fareham is the ideal place to visit for beer and food lovers, where you can be assured of a warm welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. Four legged friends are also very welcome(in the bar area)
