I booked a table for my sisters surprise 50th birthday. I thought that I had booked for a hightea but I made the mistake by not mentioning it to the lady over the phone . I was in yesterday. We had breakfast, which was excellent. We also bought some pies to take home, we live in Leicestershire, steak and ale, steak and Stilton and a couple of corned beef. They were the best pies I’ve ever eaten.

Glad to see it's still going. Lovely lunch today. Would just ask the lady with the dark hair please speak more slowly when going through things, us and the other table struggled with grasping everything as it was reeoed off so quickly!! Lovely place and we will be back :)
