I spent Christmas day here with my family. We had a mix of traditional northern Indian food and traditional Christmas dinner. There was a great atmosphere the pub was very busy but staff coped well. Excellent food with good food. It was very quiet when we visited midweek daytime.
Dating back to the 12th century, The Sir John Barleycorn is a beautiful thatched tavern on the bank of the River Cadnam in the New Forest. Visit this Gastro Pub for a warm welcome, some pub grub, authentic Indian or a pint of outstanding traditional cask ale.
