The Fox Inn at Bramdean is a real gem of a pub and a rare find these days. The building originates from the 17th century and is Grade II listed. By not being overly modernised, it has retained a genuine old pub atmosphere and it is all the better for it in my view. Lovely traditional pub, good parking facilities. Food good, not exceptional, service friendly and efficient. Reason for poor rating.....had looked up on TripAdvisor and been advised that it was wheelchair friendly.....which it was not. Stopped for lunch after a walk. Great service. Steak sandwich and chicken wrap were delicious. Good beer. And reasonable prices. Pub was very comfortable, and beer garden looked good. I'll be back!
