Can’t thank Maureen and the staff enough for their help and generosity on a recent visit to purchase items for another charity project. The community of Wigan is so blessed to have this amazing charity and their volunteers who do such fantastic work and make a huge difference. Thank you!!

We are a registered Community Interest Company who operate in the Wigan Borough. Through our work we grow confidence, connection & community at the same time as alleviating material poverty
DD is passionate about creating opportunities for children & their families who find themselves living in hardship in Wigan
We aim to do this by funding children's chosen activities, providing workshops around managing day to day life skills, & providing everyday essential items to those in need. Anything that is needed to give children opportunity to thrive
DD is here to bridge the gap between those who have items to donate & the families who would welcome them. We collect great quality items & gift these on to families with challenging circumstances
