The Travellers Rest is a traditional country pub, dating back to the 19th century, with oak beams and an ‘olde world’ feel. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and has been serving the local community for over 150 years.
The pub serves a wide range of cask ales and other beers, ciders, wines and spirits together with a varied food menu of locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
The countryside surrounding the pub and the local beauty spot Highfield Moss are popular with walkers, dog walkers and cyclists who often use the pub as a watering hole. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our tap room area.
