EC/Spar on the M61 Bolton is largely good with a very well stocked shop. The prices aren't extortionate, unlike other motorway service shops. So the internal Spar shop prices are good and affordable. Absolute cowboys!Driving down the motorway, car made a bang noise, dash advised stop immediately. Luckily I was right before an refuge area - Rivington Services. Pulled in and called mechanic. Mechanic came and said needed recovery to BMW..... who subsequently had to replace the engine.When I spoke to Spar staff to advise... read full comment
