I like their products, but they are overpriced. They won't provide a proper receipt unless you give your email address - an obvious marketing ploy. I was asked multiple times to join their rewards program. I was just trying to buy a present. I don't want random businesses to have my contact details.

Over the years I've never visited a Whittards tea emporium, well not that I can remember anyway. However earlier today, Sunday 28th July 2024, we popped in as my son wanted to get some traditional English tea products to present as gifts to his partners family. So I popped in as well, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Went in to Whittard in Wimbeldon today. Lovely service and help with regards to buying a birthday gift for a close friend. The service was top shelf. Even when a customer accidentally knocked over a teapot with hot tea the salesperson instantly went into safeguarding mode to ensure no one was hurt or could hurt themselves... read full comment
