Having not booked we weren’t expecting a table inside but we were lucky enough to get one of the last tables in the bar area. The bar had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were wonderful and polite. Had a great lunch. The food was good value. Chloe gave us a superb service. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always ready if we needed anything.

One of the best traditional Sunday lunches I have had in a pub. Vegetables crisp and crunchy, pork delicious with proper crackling. Yorkshire pud overwhelmingly big though - more of a hat really. Good service from cheerful staff. Really like the decor, garden looked welcoming with beach huts but too cold for me.
