Asked to leave because some late arriving members of our party were not of the right demographic. Cannot believe such discrimination exists - I understand that managers have the right to refuse service to anyone but to block out an entire subsection of people seems absurd.

The kitchen was closed, so couldn't try the food, but this is a very well balanced pub. Good drinks - a porter on tap and a large selection of single malts. Well- worn oldness, friendly young staff and even a little beer garden. I will come back.
