Easy to book appointment online with quite a high number of availability which goes to say a lot! I have been with this clinic over 10 years now, 2023 will be the last time they look into my eyes! My appointment went ahead as planned, quick and swift, made to fill same old form on their compuer, nothing explained per se about the condition of my eyes after the tests and eye examination and of course given a new prescription as usual... I return to the shop with a frame for my lenses, lady tells me she is on her lunch break and to give her 5 mins, meanwhile she is stood few metres from me on her phone having a chat with whoever was on, certainly not a business call. 5 mins went by, no sign of her as she goes to the back of the shop but can still hear her on the phone, 10 mins later and there are two more people now in the shop waiting. she finally emerged and attended to me.Now I want to cancel the order I have placed for my lenses, and for 2 days now my calls go through to the central customer services who inform me that they are not able to even get a hold of this shop on the phone, so goodluck trying to get hold of this shop on the phone when the need arises! Should have just followed my instincts in the first place and never attended this clinic this time around.

I signed up to the mail subscription to see services provided and in one day I received 5/6 calls from them. I only wanted to sign up for emails not to be hounded all day. Just for this fact alone I will be using a different company as this is close to spam calling. Ridiculous, I even sent an email a couple days ago asking for them to not call me anymore. Clearly didn't listen. Hounding potential customers is only going to drive them away.

Went last week and was told my prescription would be emailed, never received it and have followed up without success. Don't recommend.

After receiving a call to pick up my spectacles from this branch and being told the store is open Mon-Fri, I arrived to find the store closed! This was also after requesting my spectacles to be delivered to the Shaftesbury store and this being totally ignored. Clearly Optical Express do not value the time and effortof their customers to make space to attend in-store. Overall experience hasn?t been satisfactory and I would recommend a different provider. I shall not be using them again.

Overall good service but I was offered straight away the most expensive option. Only when I asked I was told about cheaper options?.felt that I was treated a bit unfair.

My experience with this place has been nothing short of a nightmare. Awful, awful customer service with staff working that are incompetent at best and downright unpleasant/rude at worst. As far as I can tell, most of them are both of the above.My first time getting contact lenses has been made painful and unpleasant by choosing this place - I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on I would highly recommend others to do the same.

Good service overall in providing patient care and eye test. I didn't have to wait long and was looked after in a short space of time. Sukhi provided efficient and friendly service and the same for other team members. I Will visit again.

Had a great experience so far with optical express. Did my consultation at eastcheap, Tasnia, Reena and Shaz where fantastic and were very helpful and supportive,, was not sure if i wanted to do it but Tasnia convinced me and so far no regrets. Did my surgery in Harley street and everything went well. 6 month later and still no regrets. Only minus is the Halos I've been seeing every now and then.. but that's not a big deal as it can go on for more than a year as the eyes are still getting used to the new vision. I can see fine and its something minor.Now in eastcheap for aftercare as I'm writing this review. Last time i did my eye test My vision was good 20/20. And after the appointment everything is still good after 6 months. So far so good. Thanks alot.

Just got back from a Laser consult. The staff were incredibly friendly and relayed complex information in an understandable way. Definitely booking my Lasek with this company.

Came here for a laser consultation everything was going good. I did book in as they are very pushy towards the end in terms of booking with them. However I did find it a lot cheaper a few days after elsewhere. when I then rang up to get a refund of my deposit I was told I had to wait 28 days well this was nearly 40 days ago. When I rang the shop I was told the manager is in Scotland completely irrelevant to me getting my refund and very unprofessional.

Pre covid very good service but has dramatically gone down. Sadly, I had not only mixed messages from different staff but no concern for my eye care and just abrupt customer service which felt on the rude side. Tried to drop in several times but was closed earlier than published times and was even told to ?go away? having already walked through the open front door during published opening times and they had rung me asking to come in that day. I am hoping to resolve the current issue but will then taking my glasses and contact lens care elsewhere after over 5 years. Wish they had kept up their staff training. Not awful, but not really worth it with other options nearby where they might be clearer or at least more inclined to help.

Really awful service. The document on the client portal was not annotated correctly so was useless when buying glasses else where. When I called to ask what my prescription was they weren't able to tell me and that I have to either go back in in person or they mail it too me. Avoid!
