The experience here starts with the doorman, who just about greets everyone that walks by him as he did us for the last two days. Such genuine charm and courtesy is rare today. We had reservations with friends we had not seen for 4 years at a nearby notorious restaurant, but too late we read the horrendous Trip Advisor...

Visited Robuchon's Atelier in Covent Garden years ago and the Shanghai restaurant thoroughly enjoying both. L'Atelier in Clarges Street was simply excellent. The Chef's tasting menu with wine pairings was the perfect closeout to Christmas in London. Each course excelled in its own right - even the bread
