We got a PCN for parking a few minutes more than the 3 hour limit which is insanely low for a large retail park, specially if you are with a 1 year old! We went over time as the employee in Smyths was at lunch which delayed the car seat installation!

My local retail park has the necessary stores I need most for DIY, household items, house decor, furniture, sportswear, and of course, a couple of places to eat or have a coffee/tea.I like shopping here as there are loads of parking spaces and all shops are on one level and within walking distance of each other.

Easy parking and has the Retailers like B&Q , Dunelm, Sports Direct , Smyth's Toy Store, Curry's PC World , Furniture Land and . For coffee there's a Costa and for something to eat McDonald's that has a drive thru and Subway too ?

Typical McDonald's however due to them being overloaded with constant deliveroo orders customer service in store is fairly slow. If you can go to another one it's recommended.

As usual, here I have a good selection of useful shops. This time, I went to SportDirect. It was quiet, and I didn't have to wait in the queue. Staff was not over friendly but professional. I liked it

Lots of parking and nice stores to buy electric, DIY, furniture, clothes. Verity to eat. But approach road needs repairs and care needs to be taken when you exit North circular road

Lots of shops that I needed. Only wish KFC will open a branch here. For those who drives there are ample parking. Be aware that there is a two hours, I think, restriction. Those who needs public transport there is bus 232, 221 and 382. Do google check the stops and it does not take long to get from the bus stops to the retail park. There is the New Southgate train station, where bus 232, 382 and 221 stops here, if travelling by train. Not sure which train lines as I am a 'bus' person ??. In summer do use the greens, a fair size, bring your hamper basket or just have Mac, Costa or Subway .. hope you good time if you do come.

Got a £60 fine for using the carpark at midnight to eat a mcdonalds. UKPC the company that has cameras to catch you and fine you doesn't care as they refuse any appeal and then send the fine to debt collectors who hike up the costs and seek a CCJ. I will never visit this place again.

I parked outside Pets at home for 10 minutes having spent £120 on dog food. I received a £100 parking fine because my wheel was 30cm over the parking bay line in the car park at 10 am in the morning, the car park was empty ! . I will never use Friern Barnet Retail Park again to shop. What a terrible way to reward a loyal user of the retail park for the last 20 years.

There is a good range of stores to visit. Today I went to four, b&q, Dunelm, Smyths toys & Currys. The only disappointing thing is its not very easy to access via public transport or on foot.

Very poor service. I used drive through to by a coffee and apple pie. After taking the payment The lady said we haven't got Apple pie. You can either just take your coffee or wait for 10 mins for apple pie or take a dounat instead!

Maccas, subway, Sports Direct, B&Q, Furniture Village, Smith's Toys, Dunelm, Currys, Halfords. All big. All good, but can be at low stock on a lot of things quite often. Car park has more speed bumps than I've ever witnessed.
