Had a very strange experience - made a reservation for dinner, arrived and was given the full menu. When we went to order we were told there were no entrees available except for one.

Everything was perfect. Not only the food was delicious (fish & chips, chicken leek & tarragon pie), but the bartender was very kind, attentive, and helpful. We will definetely come back again soon.
Dietary restrictions: The waiter especifically asked for any food allergies.

Busy traditional town style bar. Nice decor. Good food. Excellent selection of drinks and good service. A great place to meet up. Does get busy.
Located in the pretty streets behind Notting Hill Gate Tube station, the Hillgate is a local pub with great food. The menu has a seasonal focus, serving fresh British produce.
The selection of real ales from around the country are rotated regularly keeping the selection fresh and interesting. We love wine and have accrued an extensive cellar of wines from around the world. The upstairs dining room makes an ideal wedding and private party venue and can be booked in advance. Our Chefs will happily prepare a buffet or canapés for your event.
