After 15+ years, we just had our accounts closed due to closure of CB retail banking in the UK. Citibank offered absolutely no support in helping find a new bank or anything else. Appalling.

I was selling shares in a very liquid market via citibank and to my suprise i saw that i sold them 10% under the market price to citibank Berlin!I got no answer to my complaints and in a reaction to that my accounts were blocked for 2 months.The account manager was unfriendly though the girls tried to help

The worst banking experience I've ever had in my life. Fifteen quid a month to 'maintain the account' with zero branches open and complete lack of access to any help on the phone. It's a miracle this place seems to be going under. I'd tell people to avoid banking here, but as it seems that will soon no longer be possible,... read full comment
