Not much fazes me these days, but going to the bookies to place a bet used to be really straight forward. Just went in to place a bet. I was told to use the machine? Walked out. A simple £20 bet on someone scoring a hatrick seemed a bit too complicated.

Was able to place bet quickly. However one of the horses I was told wasn't running and it did. Fortunately it didn't get placed in the first four or I would have had something to say.
