I failed to get the charger to work, and asked for help. The Shell colleague was no more successful and suggested I went into shop to get my credit card ‘authorised’, which we did twice, resulting in me being given a 2p coin. Shell Recharge is an electric vehicle charging service with speeds ranging from 50kW to 300kW on our forecourts and destination locations, and fast charging on-street. Shell plans to install hundreds more charge posts across the UK in the coming years and is making progress in its ambition to ensure 90% of drivers are within 10 minutes drive of a Shell public charge point by 2035.
