    We’ve been visiting the cafe for years and have had very good food there, if sometimes indifferent service but nice ambience. However this Saturday we had Irish Stew which was almost unpleasant, very bitter and poorly flavoured, my wife could not eat it all, with dry sourdough bread without spread.     Entered with just one customer seated and was promptly ignored by the guy (short, dark haired, slightly balding) behind the counter. Quite surreal, he even shouted a query to one of his colleagues in the kitchen who came out and worked out that I was a customer.
