Went to lunch eat with my husband in Southend.we ordered peppermint tea and english breakfast tea and the server gave us 2 coffee which we said we did not order coffee and then made the drinks we ordered.When she served our foods she asked if we want sauces and I said tomato catsup and mayonnaise please.And she never went... read full comment

A perfect afternoon tea. I especially loved the hot scones with Rodda's cream, butter and Bonne Maman conserve. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant clean and well decorated. A great experience, I'll definitely be back ?

good food but poor service. slow and too focused on standing around talking to eachother by the coffee machine, rather than serving customers. sat at our table for 25 mins waiting to pay in addition to 20 min wait for food. servers are polite but poorly organised.
