This is a *lovely* country pub, my favorite in-fact! Really homely welcoming feel, great in the winter and even better in the summer with the spacious and picturesque beer garden.

Had dinner tonight (Fri 18.10.24) it was not too busy upon our arrival. Staff acknowledged us whist serving someone else, which was nice. We got to choose a table and our drinks order was taken. The perfect country pub needs the perfect selection of real ales – after all, nothing beats a pint of cask ale to wash down a hearty meal!
