Excellent! Met my friends there today and we all enjoyed our food, best of all they have proper apple crumble, a rare site these days, it was delicious. Great service from James as well, he looked after us 3 girls . Will definitely be going back x

This place was under refurb when we stopped during a hike. But they provided us with refreshment drinks and water and toilet facilities, soon to open its looking good.

This place has had a recent make over and has gone back to the original name of The Black Bull. The staff were lovely and they had a good selection of beers, spirits and wines. I was so impressed that I will be planning to eat here soon to try the menu and sample the food. Beautiful grounds and gardens.
Fantastic friendly tea room during the day serving breakfast from 9am lunch from midday with large child friendly beer garden, ample parking with the freehouse pub opening 4:30 mon - Thurs midday Fri - sun and offering a carvery on a Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.
