A really chilled atmosphere, with friendly staff and lots of fun. We enjoyed some breakfast, coffee and a paint. Time slipped by we were having so much fun and were so relaxed. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly and attentive staff, great food and drinks. Lovely place overall.
Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and friendly to kids, pottery painting is available to do if you want to.

Nice service and nice coffee.
The cake was good too but not much thicker than a slice of toast, which was a bit of a disappointment!

The Chameleon is a family run independent business based right in the centre of Great Dunmow. It's not just a cafe but you can also try your hand at pottery painting. Options include evening events and children's parties. A great place for a quiet coffee with a garden terrace
