Nice pub and hotel. I've not stayed over night so can't comment on the rooms but the food and drink is pretty good. They serve a couple of real ales as well which is nice.It does get a bit 'young', busy and loud on a Friday and Saturday night with lots of sparkles, fake tans and young lads with their tongues hanging out.... read full comment

I usually stay in the Travelodge in Dunmow for work, but couldn't this time and stayed in The Saracens, and am so pleased I did. This will be my go to from now on. The room was lush. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

This was the only place that could look after our bikes whilst we had breakfast. Great food and service.
