The hallways smelt funky. The lighting in the rooms were something out of a horror movie they were flickering. In 57 years on this planet, even without a privileged life, I have never experienced accommodation so horrific! Stains on the carpet everywhere, a brown toilet, curtains hanging by a subset of hooks. Never again.Already for the locationAlmost 2 hours drive by bus, metro train to get to LondonSo 4 hours per day of travel.That's my fault, I should have chosen less far away but given the price I said to myself why not ?But for 8 days in the hotel we saw no one enter the room to clean it or at least change the towels.So... read full comment
