Closed during normal opening hours on two separate occasions within a week. Cannot be relied upon, unfair on customers making a dedicated trip.

I have used Writtle Post Office on and off for years in its various guises with varying success. On the whole it's ok but I actually just cannot depend on it. Yesterday I went in to use the Post Office. It closes between 2.30pm-3.30pm on a Wednesday and I knew this so went at 3.45pm. Parked up, went through the shop only...

Much improved stock to include post related items (padded envelopes, boxes etc). A really useful addition to village life.
