We had a lovely weekend staying at The George. A warm welcome from everyone in the team that we met; a beautiful room with everything we could want; and simply, quite unexpectedly wonderful, food! AND they are well known for their choices of ales.....

The food the service and the destination amazing. Nothing bad I could say about this place. And the pistachio Profiteroles was to die for so so good! When we visit again The George Inn will 100% be on our list.

An excellent place to stay, in an attractive old village. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable bedrooms. Delicious cooked-to-order breakfasts. Good beer. Cozy and characterful bar and dining room. Very friendly and efficient service. A short walk from the railway station, with regular trains to Charing Cross.
