Absolutely useless. No value of time for customers. I went there to open a business account yesterday. I was told to come the next day in the morning to come open the account. Was told to keep 2 hours for the opening. I walk in, wait in the queue only to be asked what day next week is suitable to come back as they have no appointments available. Absolutely no respect for anyone's time.

A few teething problems when transferring my business bank account from HSBC, (expected as HSBC were involved) but absolutely love Metrobank! It?s got a really European vibe which is refreshing as it?s open planned branch is welcoming and the staff treat you like a human being. The opening hours make it so handy to pay in when you work for yourself and they don?t rob you blind like the other UK banks with hidden fees. HSBC could really take a leaf out of Metrobanks book!

Great bank if you value the personal touch, the y have really nice, friendly staff in North st Brighton. Having been with most of the high street banks, I love metro, and think they're especially good for starting a new venture inthe third sector, everyone was very helpful. Google them, as they are one of the few people still opening new branches, whilst everyone else is closing theirs to become coffee shops and pizza restaurants. Go Metro.!! ?

I had to edit this and knock them down a few because one of the major selling points was their opening hours and now they open like any other bank sand the service seems to have gone a bit down hill. The staff that used to work here when I opened the account couldn?t do enough for you, the ones there now are definitely not as helpful. 16.2.23** Old review: Opened an account today and I was very pleased with the service I received. Can?t believe they printed the card instantly and we?re exceptionally helpful. The opening hours are brilliant, I will be closing my traditional bank account (where there is always a queue and the staff are beyond unhelpful, pushing me to a self service and inadvertently pushing themselves out of a job!).

They dont have even a printer for their failed for homeoffice application, I WAITED 2hours for this after staff said printers is broken. WHAT A SHAME. rude and unreasonable staff. We will freeze our accounts as businesses. Big mistake for choosing bank. WORST BANK IN UK. Putting money to rubbish box better and more secure than this bank

The worst costumer service every they told to sit on the banch and wait 5 minute and they keep chatting to each other and they forget about you for 20 minutes 27.01.23

Literally the worst organisation I've ever dealt with. They made an error that cost me a (thankfully small) amount of money. They admitted the error, admitted it was entirely their fault but staff refused to fix it, refused to discuss it, refused to consider a complaint, refused to follow their complaints process and told me to sod off to the Ombudsman if I didn't like it! They wouldn't even tell me why - I was just told "we're told you no and we're not discussing this any more ".The staff member acted like a spoilt, petty child - right from the first second, they were rude, dismissive and made it clear he didn't care at all and had no intention of trying to fix the issue. I used to recruit and train people to do exactly his job for another financial services organisation - he'd have been sacked him on the spot for gross misconduct for responding to a customer complaint like that. I've never been made so angry by a corporate response to anything in my whole life.Under no circumstances open an account here, not if you value competence, customer service and keeping hold of your money. I hear they're going bust - won't be a second too soon.

I really love this bank!! This is the happiest I've ever been at a bank because they open longer hours than any of the others, plus they open on Sundays too, which is extremely handy and often essential for me. The staff are so welcoming, professional, friendly, kind, helpful and dedicated. I am a very proud member of this bank and I rate it 5 STAR'S... ?????

I am so disappointed in METRObank The customer setvice is non existant and I am closing my account. Can you believe they closed my business account without informing me and the money in it has totally disappeared :-( So unprofessional. I opened my accounts when they first opened but sadly our relationship is at an end

I have never had such a nightmare in trying to,open an account for a unaccompanied minor young person in foster care with few forms of ID .Staff gave us the wrong info and pushed from pillar to post , can?t speak to anyone at local branch on the phone which is so frustrating ?After 6 months trying to get an account open we gave up , straight into HSBC done in 30 mins !

Been with metro bank for 3 years now, I am leaving it because everytime I do a payment online or whatever, I have a text message saying do u recognise this payment, said reply y for yes or n for no, I sent Y, they still blocked my card for the 7th time which I used it, honestly a waste of my time with this bank, worse than Santander, I am so so sick wasting my breath ringing them or going there just to unblock it, I get the security but nowIt?s just ridiculous
