After visiting the Brighton shop I been put off buying anything from them, 2 staff one realy nice salesman the other was probably the manager with attitude, salesman help me look around the equipment but when I asked questions the answer had to come from the manager behind the desk and his replies where very blunt and arsey, when I ask questions on the make of engine was told by him we dont give out where there made and asked about warranty he replied to you none so i basically I left with out purchasing and ordered on line with a different company who could answer my questions and where I felt happy to purchase from, think new management is needed at this store,

I rarely have to use this store, but when I do, it is very disappointing. The products I have bought from here have all been fine. The customer service however, is appalling. On my last visit, I was the only customer in store, and of the three customer service reps, not one asked if I needed assistance. And when I approached the desk and chatted to the manager, he was swift to insult me and show me just how lacking he was in customer service skills. As for his attitude toward his staff, I wouldn't tolerate him. On the plus side, the goods I bought are great. They're exactly what I needed, good quality and reasonably priced. ?

Super friendly and helpful people working here - helped me get two stripped screws out of some vintage Ronson pocket lighters I had recently purchased when I had all but lost hope (which now work)! Will definitely be returning here soon for any of my power tools/machinery needs!

Can't spend money with them as they don't answer the phone. 9am to 11:45am on hold 30 minutes at a time only to be disconnected.... if I ran my business like this I'd go bust.

I purchased a petrol generator brand-new from machine mart, within two hours it had shook itself to bits literally, the screws that come out and it was leaking fluid from the bottom. I returned it to the store and was told it would take four weeks to be inspected, it was returned to me supposedly repaired and in perfect working order, it wasn?t! Again two hours use saw it shake it self to bits, this time the petrol tank came off and spilled petrol all over the hot generator which was incredibly dangerous. Again it was returned to the store and this time I stated I wanted a full refund!I was refused a refund and once again it was screwed back together and returned to myself.I refuse to use the generator as it is absolutely lethality dangerous, and I cannot sell it.Basically I just lost a load of money!Machine mart?s generators are not only faulty but they are dam right dangerous! Warning do not buy a generator from machine mart!

These guys in Brighton are fantastic, they looked and double checked for the right motorcycle lift I needed.Helped load the lift into the van and were very pleasant.Thank you guys, appreciate your help.

I bought a fan heater, found it broken ( not giving 1% of proper heating), i wanted to turn it back in the next day, they said it's working and we can't take it back.I had to call the police for them, then they accepted to take it back.?

Machine Mart has been my goto local tools/machinery store for a while now. When Screwfix doesn't cover it MM will 100%. Nice staff as well.

Went to machine mart in Lewes road this morning to get a compressor and staple/nail gun. Craig and the team were very knowledgable & helpful and helped me choose the Wright one for the job. To which I?m very pleased.Great staff and great prices. Will be going back. ??
