In the past twelve months I have had two watches serviced by James Ross Jewellers. A Rolex GMT Master II & most recently an 1960's Omega Seamaster De Ville. Their service is second to none. The watches when returned looked like new & keep perfect time.

A few weeks ago my wife broke the bracelet on her favourite Citizen EcoDrive watch. We took it to James, who could not have been more helpful. He found a suitable link and fixed the bracelet within a few minutes. He refused to accept payment, though my wife insisted on buying him a couple of coffees.Excellent and very pleasant experience. You can tell when somebody is genuinely interested in helping, and James is certainly one of those people.When my vintage Omega is ready for a service, James will get it. Highly recommended.

We have always used James Ross Jewellers as they provide such excellence personal service. James fixed a watch that belonged to my Husband's deceased father. James did this with such care and attention, which we were very grateful for.They are our 'go to' family jeweller for purchasing top class jewellery and repairs. Not only that James supports many local charities to make a huge difference in the area.We would always highly recommend James Ross Jewellers.

James Ross is a wonderful supporter of local charities from hosting charity events to providing auction items. He is a very generous person. From the people I've met at events and local networking once you've visited his shop once you'd be unlikely to go anywhere else.

On the 12th June 2023, I was standing outside James Ross Jewellers, having sought shade under the canvass, so I could see my mobile screen clearly as I was typing a text, when a bald -headed, old man with a grey beard and big belly came out of the shop, locking the door behind him. He started physically invading my personal space, standing as close as he could, walking all around me like some weirdo. I asked him if he was trying to intimidate me to which he replied that he "enjoyed intimidating women and being violent to women". He reiterated this a few times.His odd behaviour caused me much distress and fear because it wasn't normal.All I was doing was minding my own business and just typing a text when I was approached by this antisocial individual.I would not recommend, especially to any females.

The most amazing experience!! I asked James if he could make a new ring out of my late parents wedding and engagement rings. He stated this was no problem. I now have the most amazing gold band inset with 7 diamonds. Thank you so much! It?s beautiful and I shall wear it all the time.

I highly recommend James Ross Jewellers. I took a very expensive watch into a different place to change the battery and they totally ruined it. Went to James Ross to see if they could do anything with it. Picked it up today and the back of the watch is like brand new. Always use a reputable jewellers who know exactly what they are doing. I will now not go anywhere else to have my jewellery repaired. So happy and pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much.
