Very low service by the business team as they can?t read English or contracts in English as the person who was dealing with the application asked the same question in 4 emails and guess what? It was the same answer in all of them but she & her team couldn't figure out that the question was answered previously. Starling Bank has better service in everything especially with business accounts and they don't repeat the same questions in 4 emails.. As for political views, no one with dignity & honour should bank with them.

I've just discovered that they have closed their branch in Hove. This says it all about the way they regard their customers. For those who are disabled, and/or unable to drive how are you supposed to get there? Try parking in Brighton. Shame on you Barclays.

Overall it?s a bank. But I?d rather not bank with apartheid. There are plenty of alternatives to move your money digitally. And ones that don?t bankroll war crimes in several countries. They also have not replied to a letter written to them asking them to reconsider their position. Poor customer service on things that mean a lot to concerned customers.

I donot understand why this branch still operates. It has some of the most rude workers in the UK. They are not helpful at all and they cannot think out of the box to deliver personalised services. They are like robots.

i?ve been a customer for 5 years now and i want to leave a positive review for one of your members of staff Lin at the business counter. i have had the pleasure of being served by her a couple of times and she is such a lovely, cheerful and helpful woman (especially for someone who works at a bank)

Very good quick service from helpful staff. Some things can no longer be done in this bank but must be done online, but at least here the staff will explain and help you. There is a strict limit to how much you can withdraw, and many services offered previously are now only available on line, but if you have not found help nor explain from your local branch a trip here is worth the effort.

Got rid of the counters and try to make you use the machines. All well and good until they won't accept a cheque because of the hand writing. Horrendous queues for counter service. Poor service.

My husband went into brighton barclays earlier in the week and was told some incorrect information. When we went in today an employee by the name of Andy helped us out so much. Very apologetic for the miscommunication and took the time out of his day to make sure we had the documents we needed for my visa application. We appreciate Andy so much and would love to emphasise what a positive influence he had on our day (and our life to be honest). You're a legend Andy!!!

I have been 10 years with Barclays and unlike other banks in the past, I find them meticulous when it comes to Internet fraud(getting money stolen back quickly to my account) and contacting me if any suspicious movement happens in my account.Plus if i do not have to do complex things to verify my identity when buying online.Approachable staff at the North Street branch I find, helpfull anyway.
