Amazing customer service by store manager named Calam . Had a refund issue which customer service could not sort after ring them twice but Calam sorted it straight away. Great service .

Let down by elder staff member may or may not be manager with a jobsworth attitude and not good customer service. Younger staff members helpful and friendly as should be thanks ?

Bought a brand new laptop on the 26th Dec and realised it wasn't the right size for me; it was unused and hadn't been powered on. When taking it back in all its original packaging, I was told by a staff member that she needed to check with the manager after she removed it from the box and inspected it herself putting her own fingerprints all over the outside and inside of the laptop.When the manager arrived, he inspected and left his fingerprints on it too and then proceeded to tell me it can't be refunded as it's 'clearly been turned on as there are fingerprints on it' when in fact it was themselves who put them on there. It was a brand new laptop in perfect working order and the day after I bought it I was told it couldn't be returned! The manager of the store was very unpleasant to speak with and said I should've 'done my research before buying' which funnily enough I did.....Funny thing is, I took it home and cleaned the fingerprints off using a wipe and then took it to another Argos (the Sainsbury's Argos on Lewis Road) and within 5 minutes I left the store with a refund confirmation in my hand! They had no issues in returning it and didn't make up excuses for why it couldn't be returned when it's in perfect working order and condition. AVOID CARDEN AVENUE ARGOS AT ALL COSTS.

Nice to pick things up in-store rather than wait for Amazon delivery. Staff have always been helpful, with no fuss returns.

I always get such good service at Brighton?s Argos. Particularly from Janina. Staff are always helpful and efficient in my experience.

Two staff stood around talking, while the other younger member of staff was left to deal with any customers at the customer service desk. I waited 15 minutes at the collection point waiting for my product, only to find that no one was on their way to get it. Eventually, the ladies talking finally realised they actually have to work to be paid and I received my product. This was on wednesday (07/10). Thank you to the young lady doing all the hard work that evening behind the desk!

Very helpful during lockdown and actually quicker service. Ordered on phone and was finished in a few minutes. Staff were nice and queues short.

They just never answer the phone so why have a contact number if you cannot use it - Totally hopeless so I ended up buying from Amazon no wonder all the physical stores are disappearing as they provide absolutely no customer service ( Called Amazon customer service and got an answer to my question so purchased from them and it was cheaper for the same product )

My online order for pickup was complicated as I had to replace something, Georgia handled it brilliantly, everything was done a lot quicker than I expected and she was very helpful going above and beyond

I was told on the 8th of January in an Argos online chat that "someone" would contact me within 48 hours regarding the sign written Argos delivery van that "hit and run" after crashing my parked car on that day.Sussex Police have suggested in the first instance I should speak with you regarding your "hit and run". No one from Argos seems willing to deal with such a matter or take proper action and provide insurance details for damage to a stationary third party motor vehicle....

I don't know what Argos have done with staffing issues but it always takes so long to get a member of staff on the jewellery section! Hollingbury Argos need to sort themselves out! Terrible place to shop now
