If you want quality hi-fi this is the only place to go. It's been there for a long, long time which proves there's always a place for quality. It does however come at a price after all you do only get what you pay for

What can I say, I have been dealing with Fanthorpes for over 25 years, and the knowledge and service just gets better and better. Just had a home fitting of some equipment, Steve was exceptional and Dave and the whole team are extremely knowledgable. If you want a great experience, use these guys. The best in the business.

From Fanthorpes HiFi
Fanthorpes is Hull's longest established HiFi and electrical retailer. The company has been trading in Hepworth's Arcade in the Old Town of Kingston Upon Hull since 1948. Opened by Arthur Fanthorpe and his wife Laura in 1948, Arthur and Laura began by buying and selling army surplus radio equipment at auction. The business expanded and soon became the go to place in the city for buying components and radio equipment. There was nothing that you couldn't pick up at Fanthorpes.
The products that we sell may have changed dramatically over the years, but our aim at Fanthorpes has remained unchanged. At Fanthorpes we strive to provide a quality service for our customers, whatever they wish to purchase.
