At lunch the chicken curry was nicely spiced with a nice flat bread mango chutney and rice but not sure about the chicken as it was quite tough. The luxury hot chocolate was excellent but the same could not be said about the coffee which was quite disappointing. It was on the expensive side for what it was hence 3 stars.

Afternoon Tea during the week there was lovely, so booked a Sunday lunch. Very disappointed. Parsnips dried. Carrots not cooked fully. Mash tasteless. Gravy thin. Ordered beer, brought cider. Such a shame, as we enjoyed our previous visit there. Upstairs room at the front had a street view that was nice. Stairs were challenging.... read full comment
