In sorting out a problem transferring money internationally the Hartlepool staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist. Individual problems may require some negative comments but we know that it is likely these are posted in anger with more frequency than positive ones giving a lower rating than it deserves....

I work during the week and rely on being able to go to my bank on a Saturday. But I've found that Hartlepool branch is now closed on a Saturday, which is very inconvenient for me and I'm sure many others. The reason I needed to go in was regarding transferring funds into an isa from another higher interest account. I...
