Rubbish service. Another morning of frustration and time wasted. Was told by a snooty assistant on my last visit that I must use the in-bank ATM and it will let me withdraw any amount - WRONG - it won't. Asked to use machine to pay in by "floor staff" - advised bank "works this way now" - -spoke to cashier who confirmed "bank works that way" now. Used machine ,then went to help desk to express discontent - - same floor staff woman advised me no one is available at the moment.Lloyds say branches are closing because customers... read full comment

My mum banks with Lloyds. I bank unfortunately with HSBC but Lloyds bank in Chester le street reminds me of the Lloyds bank of thirty years ago where all the staff were friendly and all the staff knew you on first name terms. Keep up the great work guys
