Absolutely delicious. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely and the pub has a really authentic, rustic feel to it. A great garden with a lovely backdrop too! A hidden gem in the heart of Puncknowle!

We were on holiday in Dorset in Puncknowle. The crown in was our second home. Beautiful pub, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. On Sunday the Sunday roast in the garden was excellent.
Set in a 16th–century, thatched–roofed property, this quaint family–run inn with rooms is 2 miles from the West Dorset Heritage Coast and 5 miles from the Abbotsbury Swannery bird sanctuary.
The relaxed rooms come with en suite bathrooms, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. Some add sofabeds.
Cooked breakfast available. There's also a pub offering comfort food, real ales and a stone fireplace, as well as a summer garden.
