Brought a can of energy drink and went through the self service machine as no member of staff nearby and it asked for ID, I waited for about 2 minutes and said it needed approval "I know" she said with a grunt she then said "click pay then" before she approved it and she was so rude to my mate aswell who was next too me.... read full comment

Apart from absent staff most of the time & huge crates refilling the shelves which are more important than humans having clear access, WH Smith here at least provides essentials & more. Sarnies, sweets, chocolate, crisps, brightly coloured drinks (& water), good book & magazine selection, travelling essentials like adapters,... read full comment
