Stopped this afternoon for coffee and something to eat. Wonderful cafe. Staff are friendly and efficient with lots of humour which I really enjoyed. Would thoroughly recommend ?

Closed until April I think, so they told me.

Very disappointing visit! Love Mapperton and always visit when in the area, as the weather is not ideal for the gardens we opted instead to just visit for lunch……. Arrived just after 2pm to be told the kitchen was closed and they were only serving drinks and cakes……. Of with the selection was poor and did not look...

The Coach House café serves a delicious selection of light lunches, sandwiches (developed with the Earl of Sandwich himself) and cakes with a fine selection of teas, soft drinks and outstanding coffee.
All our menu items use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
The Coach House is licensed and offers a selection of wines, beers and cider. There is plenty of space to sit inside the converted 17th century building, or you are welcome to sit outside and watch the resident cockerels, chickens, ducks, giant tortoises and doves.
