If you're into knitting, crochet, or sewing, it's like being a kid in a sweet shop. She even offers courses 1-1 or in a group. Gemma knows her stuff. Lots of choice and advice. She even serviced my 42 year old sewing machine...its good as new now

Wonderful shop, Gemma is so helpful and the classes/workshops are superb. She carries a wide range of wool, embroidery threads, gutterman threads and loads of haberdashery items. Plenty of free parking as well.

Brilliant evening! I learned how to thread and use my overlocker for the first time while the other two ladies learned how to use their sewing machines. Welcome to Cotton & Wool, Winkleigh.
We are based right at the front of Beechlea Industrial Estate in Winkleigh, EX19 8DH.
As you drive in, you will see a sign saying 'Rocket Clothing' & the Cotton & Wool sign, which is at the back of our warehouse. Take an immediate left when you drive into the main entrance, then when you get to the end of the big green unit, turn right & right again. You can't miss us then!
We have a great selection of fabrics, felts, ribbons, elastic, velcro, knitting needles, crochet hooks, DMC embroidery silks, Gutterman and Coates cotton threads, haberdashery and other crafting treasures.
