What let's this place down is it's terrible unclean. I doubt it's been cleaned in a decade or more. I'm all for a place keeping a sense of history and feeling untouched but the floor really does need replacement as does the ceiling. And the walls which are coated in smoke, grease and cobwebs need a hell of a wash. There... read full comment

My family and I had a meal there last weekend, we had a very warm reception even though pub was very busy. We had great choices in vegan meals which Is not always easy to find.
