    I had to travel from sidmouth (our branch closed recently), to pay in a cheque. Only one counter. Huge queue, and when I finally got to the front, the whole system crashed. The person serving behind the counter was not particularly helpful or friendly to me, or I noticed, to those that had been in front of me in the queue.... read full comment

    Extremely annoyed! Tried to bank a cheque in London on Wednesday, found the Santander branch closed a few months ago and the ATM removed. Check website for Honiton yesterday morning, site confirmed branch open. Detoured from our journey to Devon on holiday yesterday to find the branch closed and no access to AMT!!!
