The staff who took our order excellent, the young server who brought our food to the table was not interested and her attitude could have been a lot better. The name ‘Pinhoe Hoard’ comes from a collection of Middle Bronze Age (c. 1400-1200-BC) palstaves and bracelets, discovered by a local group of detectorists in 1999. These were unearthed on the site on which our pub is built, and are now on display in Exeter Museum.
