Had a fabulous meal at The Palk Arms last night, the food was superb and the staff were really friendly and welcoming, as always. We love it here and would definitely recommend! 5 stars all round!

Good selection of real ales, 60p pool good value, friendly staff. First good pub guide appearance 1987 (5th edition), also in camras latest 2024 edition of good beer guide. Excellent Northern view from rear across rolling hills and a biggish beer garden.

Nice "old style" country pub. Great views over the valley from eating area. Decent beers and ciders on draft, staff friendly and welcoming. We both had the steaks, very nice
