“26 SEPT 2023I recently needed to reset my telephone banking due to my own stupidity and also make an international deposit. However, I was on holiday and therefore my only option was to do these transactions in a Branch near me. I therefore visited Bidefords Branch and was attended to by the most helpful courteous and friendly Sam.Not only did she take her time to assist me and resolve all my issues but introduced me and helped me apply and install a savings plan which suits me perfectly.I have only been with Nationwide a year and find this bank so helpful and clear in their assistance.Thank you Nationwide and a huge thank you to Bideford's Branch cashier SAM. “Sometimes I avoid the prominent places, for fear of it being a tourist trap. No fear of that here. Right on the front, service with a smile and very tasty pasties. Sit on the sea front in the sunshine and wonder why we bother travelling abroad!”

“Went in to buy wine on offer with a 25% reduction on 6 bottles. I asked for an empty wine box to carry them in to prevent breakage in the boot of the car. However, I was told that it was policy not to give them to customers because it was not “eco-friendly”. Well, it won’t be eco-friendly if the loose bottles smash on the way home!
Popped across the road to Aldi who were happy to give me a box for the Asda wine.
