On a Wick & a Prayer

On Wick and a Prayer have been designing and manufacturing beautiful, handmade candles for over 25 years. Based in heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District all of the products are made by a skilled team of artisan candle makers trained by Annie (the founder) herself. Annie set up the business in 1997 at her kitchen table in the small home village of Tissington in the peak district, Derbyshire. Through experimenting with different waxes, fragrances, wicks and moulds she started to create her own ideas and designs concentrating on quality rather than quantity. On a Wick and a Prayer has now grown to employ 10 part/full time staff. A large range of quality hand poured candles and home fragrances are available in the shop showroom inside
