My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay here for our minimoon. The Peacock is a centuries-old coaching inn owned by the Haddon family in the green and rolling Derbyshire Dales. One of the best last minute decisions I’ve ever made. Stopped to break up a long drive and blown away by the tasting menu - its Michelin stars quality. The service is personable and high quality, and the rooms fantastic! Have the wine pairing, exquisitely surprising choices!
Food and drinks: The food was good quality, well cooked and presented, however, at £68 for two courses and then £12.50 for a sweet I felt it was very expensive.
