Opened a savings account online and took my proof of ID into the branch. Aron served me and was polite, professional and very helpful. As a new local customer its great to have a branch in the town centre.

Probably the best building society in my area hope that no more branches will close much better to go to branch to sort finances out rather than online

During lockdown they either needed to be open or COMPLETELY closed ! There was too much confusion. For example what was an essential transaction ? Very poor management.
When visiting a YBS branch please make sure there’s enough space to allow two metres between you and any other person; this may mean waiting outside until other customers leave. We also ask that you wear a face covering to help us keep our customers and colleagues safe.
