Ageism in abundance recently by a member of their staff. As my pet hate is being spoken to as if I’m 100 and live in the 1960’s ( I am very likely far more tech savvy than she was) , this propelled me to change to a different pharmacy where their staff have a totally different attitude to older people.

I've been using this pharmacy regularly for some time now and I've always found the staff friendly and helpful.

When trying to have a discreet conversation with the counter assistant it was relayed to the pharmacist in a very loud and unprofessional manner, the pharmacist’s response was equally loud and unhelpful, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough, felt completely humiliated.
