“We were two couples who called for breakfast went to the counter and a lady called Debra served me, she was polite,helpful and friendly. I noticed that the tea bags they used for their specialty tea were a quality brand but I couldn't resist the coffee when I saw it being ground strong and tasty. The food was good egg runny, quality sausage etc, the small breakfast was £6.00 large coffee £3.00, so reasonable. Service was good.”

“Includes a good local convenience store with a Greggs shop. I don't know know how long it's had the Keyfuels facility, but it's saved a long drive for locals, tourists, and commercial users.”

“After sixteen years in the area I considered it well overdue to rate these services which I pass three times weekly.Can I just say the customer service here is outstanding considered what the staff endure on a daily shift in high season, polite well spoken & professionally cool everytime I go in, more like old times.As of nearby Newby Bridge services these were also the true heros during the pandemic keeping us all moving.Shell seriously need to review the rate of pay for these people, pretty sure there's sufficient profit margins to meet this.Well done guys ??”

“Forbuoys which is now Martins has all the normal things you'd find in a newsagent, but in addition a brilliant selection of cards. If you need one it's worth trying here as well as Salmon's because they are strong in different areas. These are more expensive. I come here regularly to put credit on my mobile, they sell the local evening paper, (from lunchtime) The other things that they are expensive for are sweets, although they do some good deals like 3 for a reduced price. Mind you I saw cream eggs in there today for 58p when next door at the Co-op which expensive enough they were 44p. The price of eggs doesn't tell you much about the shop, but watch it. The staff here are friendly, and seem to know a lot of their regulars by name, and a bonus is that they are also efficient”
