A wonderful village pub, the staff were excellent and the food delicious. Very warm and welcoming. We had two lovely meals on consecutive evenings and our two cockapoos loved lying next to the open fire. Can’t wait to return.

We visited the Sun 3 times during our week long stay down by the lake. The first 2 times we just had drinks, and the final visit we ate too. It’s a lovely little cozy, friendly and inviting place. Great little boozer with fabulous food. We walked 2 miles for lunch and more than worth it. Being November it was fairly quiet, but that was fine. Very dog friendly with a separate menu for the dogs.
